GENERAL
Ambil Ltd was established in 1957 by the American Auto Company and Ampa Ltd. Mr Yehuda Blum and his son, Mr Moshe Blum, built up the company; and the Blum family has always held 100% of the shares in the company. Today Ambil is run by Mr Moshe Blum’s two sons, Yoram and Ori, who operate in the fields of car, scooter and motorcycle spare parts and accessories (Mr Ori Blum); and boats and yachts, marine engines and marine equipment (Mr Yoram Blum).

Car spare parts, lubricants, car accessories, scooter and motorcycle spare parts.
Ambil represents manufacturers of the highest quality products worldwide, marketing these products mostly to car importers, government bodies, wholesalers, retail stores and garages. Among the many international companies which Ambil represents are NGK Spark Plugs, Amalie Oil, IADA, Repsol and Climair. Ambil also imports many motor oils, additives, car spare parts, oil and air filters, brake pads, shock absorbers and a large variety of spare parts and accessories.
Boats and Yachts
Ambil imports, markets, maintains and installs marine craft and engines. Ambil also exclusively represents boat manufacturers, marine engines and equipment from the most prominent manufacturers worldwide. Most of these companies have been represented by Ambil for many years, such as Mercury Outboards USA and Sea Ray Boats USA. Ambil is the leading company in the marine field in Israel.
OPERATION
Ambil has its head office and a warehouse at 4 Hasharon Street, Tel Aviv. It also owns a service station, repair center and warehouse in the industrial zone of Netanya, as well as a sales office in the Herzlia Marina. Ambil employs 28 members of staff. Most of these employees have been with the company for many years and turnover is low.
